Processing Times: Your Chapter Coffee order will be processed within 24 hours of receipt, excluding Sundays and holidays.

Shipping Information: Chapter Coffee orders over $50 ship free via USPS or UPS ground to the 48 contiguous states (excluding Alaska and Hawaii).

Orders under the $50 free shipping limit pay a $7 flat rate shipping fee (applicable only to the 48 contiguous states).

Delivery Times: Chapter Coffee strives to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Most customers can expect to receive their order via standard shipping within 5 days. You will receive notification once your Chapter Order ships with tracking information provided.

Please note that delays can occur due to carrier issues, weather, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. If there is an issue, please reach out to us.

Subscription Information: Chapter Coffee offers a subscription service to meet your coffee needs, whether that be weekly or less often.

Payment & Billing: Your subscription will be billed automatically on the same day each period (e.g., monthly on the 19th). Payment is processed securely via your payment method on file.

Modifying Your Subscription: You can pause, skip, or change your delivery schedule by visiting your Chapter Coffee account. We recommend making changes at least 48 hours before your next billing date to ensure changes are recorded accurately.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription service through your Chapter Coffee account. Please note that once an oder has shipped, it can’t be canceled or refunded. We recommend canceling before your next billing cycle to avoid receiving an order you no longer want.

Shipping: Subscription orders of $50 or more ship free, and all others are assessed the $7 flat rate fee. Delivery arrives within 5 business days.

Damaged Orders: If your order arrives damaged, please contact Chapter Coffee at Connect@chaptercoffee.com and include photos of the damage within five (5) days of receipt. We will reach out within 24 hours, Monday-Friday, after receiving your message to rectify the issue.

Returns: Chapter Coffee does not offer returns.

Roasting Schedule: Chapter Coffee roasts weekly on Sunday. This ensures your coffee is roasted shortly before it ships, ensuring you receive the best possible cup.

Off-Gassing: Post-roasting, beans naturally release carbon dioxide in a process known as off-gassing. This is a normal part of the coffee’s degassing cycle and helps preserve freshness by displacing oxygen. We intentionally only roast once weekly to allow your beans to rest, allowing the carbon dioxide to escape and the flavors to stabilize. Brewing too soon can result in an uneven extraction and slightly sour or overly bright flavors.

Why Whole Bean Versus Ground: We are committed to delivering the freshest possible coffee experience. Whole bean coffee retains flavor and aroma better than pre-ground coffee, which begins to lose complexity and freshness soon after grinding.
