Single-Origin Burundi Rama Women's Co-op

$24.00

This limited-release natural Bourbon comes from Rama Dufatanemunda, a women's co-op working in the Ngozi region of northern Burundi. It is one of the more expressive coffees we've brought in this year: fruit-forward, sweet, and unmistakably Burundian.

Burundi's coffee is grown almost entirely by smallholder farmers, typically on plots of less than a hectare, at elevations that keep the cherries ripening slowly and the cup bright. Ngozi sits in the country's high northern hills, where Bourbon is the dominant variety. We roast it medium-light to keep the fruit at the front of the cup, followed by a soft chocolate finish.

Tasting Notes: Strawberry, Chocolate
Preferred Brew Method: Pour-over or Drip
Origin: Burundi
Process Method: Natural
Roast: Medium-Light
Format: 12 oz Whole Bean

Roasted weekly. Free shipping over $45.
