Single-Origin Colombia El Embrujo

$23.00

Ignacio Rodriguez’s father purchased the first three hectares of Finca La Palmera in 1969, expanding the farm to 165 hectares over his lifetime. Today, Ignacio carries that legacy forward, maintaining the same disciplined approach to cultivation and harvest. Laborers handpick cherries under the guidance of a patrón, who ensures only the ripest red coffee cherries are selected and that quality standards are followed. To support this level of care, harvesters are paid higher than the standard wage.

The name “Embrujo,” meaning “spell,” reflects Ignacio’s belief that exceptional coffee should evoke a sense of magic. This coffee is fermented for 36 to 120 hours, depending on ambient temperatures, bringing out the wine-like character you taste in the cup. It performs beautifully as both espresso and in milk, where it deepens into a layered, expressive experience.

Tasting Notes: Tropical Fruit, Wine-like, Complex
Preferred Brew Method: Espresso‍ or Drip
Origin: Colombia
Process Method: Natural
Roast: Medium
Format: 12 oz Whole Bean

Roasted weekly. Free shipping over $40.
